乙醛含量是聚酯(PET)切片的重要指标之一,常规固相缩聚过程通常需要较长的时间将其值降低1 ppm以下以满足瓶用聚酯的要求。

浩瀚色谱(山东)应用技术开发有限公司通过粘度分析、顶空气相色谱、扫描电镜、示差量热扫描等对脱醛后聚酯产品的聚合度、乙醛含量、微观形貌和热性能等进行了表征。结果表明,当周期性更新时间为1h时,超临界C02辅助PET固相缩聚脱醛的较优工艺条件为脱醛温度230 ℃C,C02压力8 MPa,粒径0.30 mm-0.45 mm。在该工艺条件下,可在较短时间内制备获得聚合度接近150,乙醛含量低于1 ppm的聚酯聚合物。SEM分析表明,粒径越小,超临界CC02对PET基体的塑化和溶胀作用越强,导致PET表面变得疏松多孔,小分子醛和缩聚副产物乙二醇等越容易脱除。热力学性能测试表明,随着缩聚脱醛时间增加,聚酯产品结晶度逐渐增大,其主要是由超临界CO2的塑化作用诱导聚酯结晶导致的。综上所述,利用超临界CO2可以有效强化PET固相缩聚脱醛过程。

Acetaldehyde content is one of the important indicators of polyester (PET) chips, and the conventional solid-phase polycondensation process usually takes a long time to reduce its value to below 1 ppm to meet the requirements of PET for bottles.

Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. conducted viscosity analysis, headspace gas chromatography, scanning electron microscopy, differential calorimetry scanning, etc. on the polymerization degree, acetaldehyde content, microscopic morphology and thermal properties of polyester products after dealdehyde characterization. The results show that when the periodic renewal time is 1h, the optimal process conditions for supercritical CO2-assisted solid-phase polycondensation of PET for dealdehydeization are as follows: dealdehydeization temperature of 230 ℃, CO2 pressure of 8 MPa, and particle size of 0.30 mm-0.45 mm. Under this process condition, polyester polymers with a degree of polymerization close to 150 and an acetaldehyde content of less than 1 ppm can be prepared in a relatively short time. SEM analysis showed that the smaller the particle size, the stronger the plasticizing and swelling effect of supercritical CC02 on the PET matrix, resulting in a loose and porous PET surface, and the easier removal of small molecular aldehydes and polycondensation by-products such as ethylene glycol. Thermodynamic performance test showed that with the increase of polycondensation dealdehydeization time, the crystallinity of polyester products increased gradually, which was mainly caused by the plasticization of supercritical CO2 induced polyester crystallization. In summary, the use of supercritical CO2 can effectively strengthen the PET solid-phase polycondensation dealdehydeization process.
