The gas chromatographic analysis method of methanol in Chapter 5 of the book Air and Waste Gas Monitoring and Analysis Methods should solve the problems of long sampling time, low recovery efficiency and chromatographic separation in three aspects of tailing large water peaks.

The method is simple to operate, has good sensitivity and reliable accuracy, and has a high degree of automation. It can continuously complete sample pretreatment, sample injection and chromatographic analysis.
